I am deeply grateful to share that my watercolor work has been selected as one of the Top 200 Rising Stars in the International Watercolour Masters 2026 (IWM2026). 🎨🌍

From 2,275 entries across 62 countries, my painting was chosen to be part of this prestigious event that celebrates the finest in contemporary watercolor. It will be projected on the grand screens at Lilleshall Hall, England, during the ten-day exhibition in May 2026, where it will be seen by thousands of visitors to the live show. The piece will also appear in the Rising Stars Programme on IWM TV, streaming globally from May 13, 2026.

As a storyteller through watercolor, I paint not only what I see but what I feel — the quiet poetry of nature, the strength of spirit, and the unseen emotions that bind us. Being part of IWM2026 is more than recognition; it is a chance to share my story and represent Suriname among artists from all over the world who speak the same language of color and soul.
